I have a gel serum that passed USP 51 with Sodium phytate as a chelator. However, the pH drifts upwards slowly over a couple of months. If I switch to Dermofeel PA-3 will I have to redo the USP 51?

Dermofeel PA-3 is sodium phytate in hydroalcoholic solution… what should that change?

If ypur stbility samples (passing USP 51) were at significantly higher pH, you would repeat.

Is that pH drift because of sodium phytate? If yes then why? Because sodium phytate doesn’t do so usually.

Maybe adding a buffer will help.
