  • Water separation on top of emulsion. What is it and why?

In one of my products which has pH 4.1, after 2 or 3 months i see there is something like water on top of the emulsion. It mixes easily with emulsion by moving or shaking the emulsion gently. The product is low viscosity lotion.

The storage room has big windows and sun during day so warmer and colder during night.

    Is that water?
    - What courses this reparation?
    - Why is it on top of emulsion instead of bottom if it is creaming of emulsion?
    - What are the solutions?

    Ingredients and product photo
