    Greetings to all.

As the title refers, my query is on the formulation of optical lens and frame cleaner. I initially formulated this product using Ethanol 96% and Sodium Laureth Sulphate but after a month a precipitate possibly of Sodium Laureth Sulphate appeared at the bottom of the container. My formulation was 84% v/v Ethanol 96% plus 1% w/v Sodium Laureth Sulphate with q.s water. I think my formulation has very high percentage of Ethanol. Please suggest an alternative formulation which is color safe and cleans the lens and frame effectively since the lens and frame are very expensive. The reason behind not using Isopropylol in formulating the product was its odour.

    Kind regards
