Viscosity loss in final formula
I am wondering what could be affecting the viscosity of my moisturizer formula. The base formula is great but the final formula is thinner than expected. The moisturizer is Hemp & Green Tea (marketing)
up to 100% Distilled Water
2% Glycerin
3% 1,3 Propanediol
3% Niacinamide
0.2% EDTA3.5% Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG 100 Stearate
1.3% Cetyl Alcohol
0.45% Sepinov EMT 10
0.1% P-Anisic Acid
0.05% BHT
6% Camellia Seed Oil
1.5% Tamanu Oil
6% Hemp Seed Oil
1% 1,3 Propanediol
0.9% Euxyl PE 90100.1% Rosemary Ole (may or may not be used for natural color also)
0.1% Bisabolol
1.5% Green Tea Extract (OS Scented Extract)adjust pH to 5.2-5.5
If I had to guess it is most likely the P-Anisic Acid or BHT since these are the most recent adjustments
Any ideas or recommendations?
