Moisture mist spray for the hair
Hi,
I’m trying to formulate a moisturizing spray for the hair and I don’t know if I’m thinking down the right lane. I have used the following formula for several days and I’m noticing that my hair has taken on a strange texture (kinda gummy when wet) and I can’t describe what it feels like when dry. Kinda like it has a film on it or something. Anyway can someone help guide me as to what I have overlooked or what I have done wrong?Formula is as follows:
Purified water 69.45%
Aloe Vera powder- 200x .35%
Gluconolactone and Sodium Benzoate 1.75%
Herbal extract blend 7.5%
1,3-Propanediol 5.45%
Glycine Betaine - Beet Sugar extract 3%
Hyaluronic acid - 1% solution 10%
Chia seed extract 2%
Fragrance oil .5%Herbal blend consists of:
Horsetail leaf extract
Sage leaf extract
Nettle leaf extract
Rosemary leaf extract
Chamomile flower extract
Lavender flower extractIf I did my calculations correctly, the total amount of sodium hyaluronate would be .1% since the solution was 1% or am I thinking about that all wrong?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Tim
