  Preservative test question

  Hi everyone,
  I have a skincare formula which already passed preservative test. I am going to use the same formula for my new product but I will leave out some active ingredients in the old formula, do I have to test the shortened formula again for preservative efficiency ? It is still the same formula ,just some ingredients was left out. Many thanks.

  Any changes to your Formula, whatsoever would require the testing to be repeated.

  Agreed.  You should even retest if you are just changing one supplier of one of your ingredients.
