This item seems to be making an appearance on many of the re-packer sites.  Am I missing out on something special?  Has anyone worked with this, and have some feedback?  Hehehehe….they have listed some pretty impressive things this does…(said tongue in cheek).

INCI: Cetyl Palmitate & Sorbitan Palmitate & Sorbitan Olivate

First let me say….I use Cetyl Palmitate in all my emulsions.  So mainly I am curious as what the latter two components would add.

Secondly…one of these ingredients is in the soaping King, OliveM 1000.  I do not know which component of OliveM 1000 gives it the soaping title, but does it happen to be the one that is repeated here?

Thirdly…here is a quote from one of the sites: “ is able to reorganize emulsion structure on a microscopic level” …. granted…a very ambiguous statement, but still rather bold.  Any chemist want to weigh in on that?

    Thank you for your consideration.

I would just say that the 3 compounds make a very good stable emulsion making O/W skin care! for example.
