    my face cream developes “crust” around the tube opening! I use distilled water, pH is ok - I do not know why my cream has a crust around the tube cap - like solidified cream! I use NF wax and lots of oils in this winter cream.

    Without the formula, i’d assume it’s a common lack of humectant(s), or that the product has dried due to the low humidity, or a combination of both since you mentioned crust around the tube cap.

    Lack of humectants would be my guess too.
