  • Need Help on Cleansing Oil

I am currently formulating a cleansing oil formulation. and my customer is looking for PEG free (natural) emulsifier for this product. Looking at some market samples i found that tehy are using Polyglyceryl-2 caprate. However when I tried dissolving the polyglyceryl-2 caprate in oil it turns cloudy. Any idea how and why?

@ssdc It’d be better to know what else is in your formula. Keep in mind that not oil soluble ingredients are compatible between them.

@ssdc I’d advise you to check the data sheet of your ingredients for compatibilty, and to check if there’s some water present in any of them.
