Serum problem

1. after 2 months, some white unknown particle form inside the serum (forgot to keep the picture)
2. after 1 year some unknown gel-like particle form inside.Ingredients:
VP-18
(5%)Niacinamide Licorice Water Eumulgin CO 40 (80%) Part B Active Complex (provide by customer, I don’t know what is this.) Aloe Vera Extract Avocado Exract Part C KEM CP Why and what is this?

Thanks, it is a flowable liquid, the unknown gel-like appeal after 1 year, is it possible that bacteria will cause the forming of this? Is anybody experiencing this kind of bacteria infection, I know some bacterial infection may cause bubbles, sour smell…. -
@twokchu Another option is that the gelling agent is becoming less hydrophilic. This can happen when for instance, there are divalent ions like Ca2+ or Mg2+, which make polymer chains to coil and not let water in. Maybe the super secret “Active complex” has some of it.

Yes, microbial contamination. Have you done a preservative efficacy test or a contamination test?

It is just a brown color liquid. I don’t have the ingredient list of the product, but I guess is a blending of some extract or some active ingredients like Dynalift from Croda. They pour it into a glass bottle with no label.
O the other hand, they bought the Serum base from japan and mixed with the thing i make using the ingredients state above, like 37 active : 63 base.
