Coco Glucoside with lower water content?
I would like to incorporate Coco Glucoside in a “self-preserving” formula that I’ve been developing. All the Coco Glucoside I have found for purchase is normally at about 40-60% concentration, with the rest being water. If I could change that ratio to 80% CG / 20% water or ideally lower this would help a lot.I am tempted to just boil the water off a small batch to see what happens, but then I’m thinking there must be a reason that I haven’t seen waterless Coco Glucoside for sale.So my question is, is there a chemical reason why Coco Glucoside can’t exist without water? And what would the lowest water percentage that one could buy/achieve through modification?
