Do you always need heat to make an emulsion?
Some stable solutions readily get cloudy when diluted by adding water. Do you need to apply heat and shear to make the dilution stable?

I read contradicting information about the temperature effect on emulsions.

Some ingredients require heating, others emulsify at room temp.
Shear is usually required although there are exceptions which do self-emulsify upon dilution (and slight mixing) or heating.
