  Economic Body Wash

  I am a management of student dormitory and recently I trying to make body wash to provide student. My formulating for economic body wash are 

  10% active SLES
  5% active CAPB
  1% NaCl. 

  The body wash is white in colour and viscous. I am here for seeking improvement, the improvement must be economic without lower the quality. Thanks.

  First, you need a preservative.  DMDM Hydantoin would work.

  But as far as “improvement” goes, what characteristics do you want to improve?

  Is it necessary to add preservative? since I estimated each batch of body wash will be finish within one year.

  I hope to improve the forming, as I am satisfied the viscosity .

  Yes, you need a preservative. To improve foam you’ll need to experiment with different ratios of SLES / CAPB.  You might also consider adding SLS.
