    Hi All,

I’m looking to fragrance a daily SPF moisturiser (target SPF 30), and have been having a lot of difficulty as the brief unfortunately insists that it can only use essential oils. I initially used Sweet Orange Peel Oil (Citrus Aurantium Dulcis) at 0.4%, but this severely impacted the SPF result in in-vivo testing. I know know that limonene must be avoided, as well as furanocoumarins, but are there any other allergens I need to watch out for/ any other flags to be aware of? For example, would Ylang essential oil with the below allergens be suitable?

    BENZYL ALCOHOL - <0.5%
    BENZYL BENZOATE - 3-6%
    CITRAL - <0.1%
    EUGENOL - <0.2%
    FARNESOL - <2%

    GERANIOL - <1.5%

    ISOEUGENOL - <0.5%

    LINALOOL - 8-12%

    BENZYL SALICYLATE - 2-3%

Looking forward to hearing your ideas, and thanks in advance!  :)
