    Dear friends!
    i am new on this area. Any suggestions or inputs are appreciated. I know the oil phase must be less than 4%. For stabilizing the serum, there are 2 emulsifiers: one for water lover and one for oil lover. Any good emulsifiers are suggested?

    thanks in advance

    There are many factors to consider when choosing an emulsifier for any product. If you provide a basic formula and what you would like to include, we can give you suggestions that fit those ingredients. Also a serum doesn’t necessarily need to be anything in particular, lots are oil free.

    Not all serums contain oil. There are plenty of waterbased products on the market as well. If you formulate with oil, consider using light esters and polymeric emulsifiers (Sepimax Zen, Sepinov EMT, Aristoflex AVC etc) for a good slip.

    Serum is a marketing term, it is not a descriptive, scientific term.
    Anything can be called a serum.

    @ngarayeva001, @perry thanks a lot.
    Is C13-15 Alkane (INCI) light ester?
