  Alternatives to Oleth-20 as a Solution Clarifier for Styling Gel?

  Hi All:

  My name is Steve from NJ, USA and this is my first post in this Forum!  I took Perry’s Basics of Cosmetic Formulating a while back and I’m finally ready to get started with my first formula - a normal hold styling gel.

  For whatever reason, I had found it a little difficult to get ahold of Oleth-20, and have instead just ordered some Polysorbate-20 to hopefully use as a solution clarifier.

  Was just looking for some advice if I am on the right track, or if there is something better / different that you might recommend?
