    404.2g Purified water
    35g SLES
    5g CDEA
    5g CocoBetaine
    2g Poly Quaternium 7
    10g Glycerine
    .3 phenoxythanol
    colorant (q.s)
    5g aloe vera extract
    5g PPG (propylene glycol)
    2.5 g niacinamide

    2.5 scent
    21g industrial salt

    @Jcjc the quantity of surfctants seems too low try to increase the level of SLES and CAPB .

    What percent active are your surfactants? SLES is commonly sold at 70%, 30%..

    also the 2.5 g ‘scent’  could be causing issues with thickening, try without the scent. Fragrances can cause viscosity issues

    You have approximately 4% salt in the system. This is way too much. Try doing a salt curve analysis

    And if nothing works just add crothix liquid. It thickens most types of surfactant products. By the way, you are just wasting niacinamide. I don’t think it have any benefits in rinse-off products.

    By the way, is that propylene glycol or polypropylene glycol. Still too high glycols for the shampoo, and someone rightfully pointed put the high level of fragrance too.
