  it is possible to store oil based product like pomade and lip balm for 2 year without preservative use in formula.

  Pomade ingredients

  Castor oil
  Beeswax
  Microcrystalline wax
  Avocado oil
  Petrolatum
  Coconut oil
  Essential oil

  It might taste weird but it’s unlikely to grow any microbes unless it gets moisture in the formula.

  Thanks Perry for suggestion but What kind of preservatives can be used for these types of pomade?

  Phenoxyethanol or Propylparaben

  Adding an antioxidant wouldn’t hurt either.
