  • Is Polyglyceryl-4-Laurate comedogenic?

So I have read that Lauric Acid is highly comedogenic.

I was thinking of using Polyglyceryl-4-Laurate as an emulsifier at 3% of the formula.

Is Polyglyceryl-4-Laurate gonna be as comedogenic as Lauric Acid, or is it any different because it is part of an ester?

(P.S. “Why don’t you just use any of the hundreds of other emulsifiers out there?”, you ask? Acneic skin condition [highly reactive], inflammatory reaction to many ingred., and desire not to heat ingredients. Bear with me, if you can! :-P)
