  Ingredients to Preserve and Mitigate Degradation of Benzyl Alcohol

  What additional ingredient(s) could you add to an emulsion to help mitigate, slow-down or prevent the eventual degradation of benzyl alcohol (functioning as part of a preservative system in the emulsion) into benzaldehyde and other by products of benzyl alcohol?

  You will have to research the mechanism of the reaction, and see if one of the limiting values can be restricted.
