  Thickener for AHA Gel

  Hi I’m making an AHA/BHA Gelcream or serum with ~25% AHA and 2%BHA. Ive tried a number of thickeners including carbopol, ultrez etc. Someone suggested rheosan, but the budget is a little tight. Anyone have any other suggestions for a thickener/gelling agent that works well at low pH?

  Try HEC, it should work at low pH.
