Trying to make a waterbased beeswax cream/paste.The mixture is very nice after mixing but thickens very much  as it cools. How can I keep the mixture from becoming so stiff?

1)8oz beeswax/2oz mineral oil       2)1.25  oz borax   in  500ml water

    3) heated in a water bath  4) slowly added water part into wax/oil part and  mixed together for 5 minutes with a power mixer.

Isn’t that the nature of the beast here? For better sensorials I would definitely try something else.

What can you expect from a formulation from the depths of history? How far back do you want to go?

Have you tried variations in beeswax %?

I tried increasing water % and it made the solution thinner but not creamier
