    Hey guys!

Hope all is well, really missed the forum for a wile sense we were badly shaken by hurricane Maria.

I would like to get your opinion on the posibilite of formulating a mild conditioning shampoo bar with these main ingredientes:

    *Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate powder
*Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Cetearyl Alcohol. Commercially known as (BTMS25)
    *Stearic Acid
*Preservative: Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol and Sorbic Acid. Commercially known as (Optiphen Plus)

Could I use for a shampoo bar Cetearyl Alcohol and Ceteareth-20 as an emulsifier instead of the BTMS25? I understand this would cause the bar not to be “conditioning” but wanted to know if it in fact could be a effective alternative.

Looking forward to your guidance. Thanks in advance!
