  Method Validation and Drug Stability Testing

  Hi,
  Could you explain what method validation is in regard to OTC sunscreen testing and what the process is? I know method validation is done before drug stability testing but why is it done and how it it done? Thank you!

  Do you have an analytical lab ? If not you need a contract analytical Lab who will instruct you:usually they want formula w/wo sunscreens and the actives you are using.Most labs here have the actives.Once method is validated you can run stability tests as per your regional guidelines (FDA).
