Can lipstick be dissolved in non-alcohol based solutions?
I was wondering if lipstick and other wax based products can be dissolved in a chemical or even detergent for proper cleaning and removal process.

Try acetone (as long as you don’t have polyacrylate materials).

@Pharma Is there any one solution that can dissolve lipstick, nail paint etc? I will try acetone, but do you have any idea about detergent solution?

Lipstick & detergents = no more lipstick especially if heated above melting point of lipstick. With a bit of bad luck, some colour will remain (can even happen with acetone).Nail paint & detergents = only no more nail paint if your nail paint is of piss poor fabrication and should be reformulated. Else, no reasonable detergent without solvent (or mechanical scrubbing) will work.
