  Calculating the amount of Emulsifier to use…

  I am attempting to keep my formulation as natural as possible. I am planning on using Xyliance which has an HLB of 10.5, with a recommended usage of 2%-6%. If i was only using this emulsifier, how do I calculate the percentage of Xyliance I need in my formulation. The HLB of my oil phase is 8.114

  you can’t - you need a co-emulsifier with a lower hlb
