    Hi everybody!!

I am formulatin a facial cream and I wanted to preserve it with phenethyl alcohol at 1,2% but I think that is recomended to complete for asure the antimicrobian preservation. I was thinking in use ethanol but I don’t know in wich %. The formula contains:
    30% oils
    6 % olivem 1000
    4 % glycerin
    0,2% xanthan gome
    1,2 % phenethyl alcohol
    water to 100%
Somebody knows what would be the adecuate % to preserve the formula of PEA and ethanol? And, could I use the ethanol used to obtain herball extracts?
    Thanks a lot!!
