    Dear,

I have a problem with my viscosity of my daycream. I’m working with phospolipid and sphingolipids in my last fase. Before I added the phospolipids and sphingolipids i’m homogenizated everything and the viscosity looks ok. But after I put the compounds in my formulation the viscosity drops enormously. And I know that i can not homogenizated phospholipids and sphingolipids otherwise the structure will be destroyed. So i’ve been looking on the internet for a answer but i can’t find anything.

    Can someone help me?

    I’ve stirred at 315rpm for 10min. Can i stir a bit harder?
In my formulation I work with 0.5% Xanthangum and 4% Cetearylalcohol, which i think is more than enough for the stability and the viscosity.

    Thanks in advance

Have you used Ecogel instead of xantham gum? I do not know what kind of psospholipids you are using but they recommend to use viscosity adjuster - Ecogel.
