Looking for a formulator
Hello, I am looking for a formulator to develop a liquid to matte lipstick.
I have tried unsuccessfully to create my own formula, and realize this is not my expertise. Typically I work with recipes and formulas that have already been created that I may alter or tweak to my needs/preferences, but I do not have the knowledge to create the formula from scratch. and have not found a formula online for the particular type of product that I would like.
I am looking to create a liquid lipstick that dries to a matte/velvet finish that is transfer & smudgeproof.

Formulating color cosmetics is a specialized part of this business. If you’d like, I can put you in touch with some people who do this, but it’s not the sort of project that will only cost a few hundred dollars.

Color cosmetic formulating is one of those areas of cosmetics in which there are not a lot of specialists.
