    Hi everyone,
I’m working on wet wipes for the first time in my career…for the juice, I want to make a fluid emulsion with Montanov L, which according to the supplier, 1% can emulsify up to 60% of vegetable oils by itself. For my formula, I’m using 1% of emulsifier with only 2% of oil (coconut and avocado oil), but when cooling down, oils separate completely. I’ve change emulsifiers and oils, but I’m observing the same separation. Could it be because my water phase is too large? I’m planning on using an emulsion stabilizer like microcrystalline cellulose, but I wanted to know if I’m missing an important concept in emulsion technology that I’m not applying in this project.
Your help is very much appreciated. I’ve learned so much from this forum.

Try pemulen TR2 - it’s a powerful emulsifier and stabiliser, doesn’t give much viscosity and you only need to use at a very low level.
