    most  producers such as nivea and loreal use benzophenone-4 in their hair color protect shampoos, the others(few) use benzophenone-3…
    both are weak filters and should used with other flters..are they really effective in color protection? are there better alternatives?

    Maybe UV filters in shampoos are used more for marketing…

    maybe its function is not to protect the hair’s color, but the product’s color.

    We add benzophenone-3 to our shampoo to slow down the colour degradation in the product itself.

    so u use transparent bottles for ur shampoos…but it isnt its main role.
