    Anyone knows if we need to claim the SPF for lip product, is there a minimum number we should go for?

    SPF 15 would be the usual target, but if you are not claiming “sunburn protection” , then you need not bother claiming one at all. A little clever semantics goes a long way.

    Testing is very, very expensive. Making an OTC drug instead of a cosmetic just about doubles the manufacturing cost also.

    It seems that lips dont have Melanocytes
