Problem with a pneumatic filler machine
Hello!
Recently wo bought a pneumatic filler machine for our cream/lotion products. I has had high expectation, but right now I can`t use it at all. We have some methyl cellulose (1%) base products, but when I dose to the bottles it highly foaming. The pressure in machine is aprox. 0.4 MPa (under 0.3 it does not working). Anybody has some suggestion?Thanks, Zsolt -

pneumatic just tells us it runs by air and not electric. What type of filler, piston? Do you have a picture of the machine?
What else is in your product making it foam? Need more info to help.

I have had issues with the filling machine where I work resulting in cream flying everywhere!
If the cream is thick warm it to slightly to thin it then reduce the pressure. Or you could fill straight after making before the cream bodies up.Hope that helps

Thank you for comments.The machine is just like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yo0fjk7G5xoI tried the minimum pressure, when the machine still working, and it was 0.2 MPa, but don`t work, still making foam. Other problem is, I can`t setup the exact amount of dosed gel, after 2-3 dose it changed, more then 5-8 %, and I need 100ml of product .Our main product is a gel, making from cellulose ether, 1%, rest is some plants ingredient aromas, colorants, etc water ad 100. I will try to make the gel more dense, maybe it work.Happy easter to everebody!

As Bob said try running the machine slow. Also, you nay need a larger circumference nozzle. Personally I would never buy these machines from China or anyplace overseas. You will have to contact the company for support to see why the fill may be changing.
