Just to clarify. The out side of the hair shaft is “coated” with the pigment. The color would show but would it be “vibrant” or just blend in with the natural hair tone? -
@Perry
Kool aid powder is an “old-school” that was used with girls from the hood. I use to watch my sisters and her friend use Kool-aid to “color” their hair. I made a mess and stained everything in the process… -
thank you gentlemen… I have been looking at a few videos where people had hair that was beyond matted into one lump and the stylist was trying to comb through it.
Are there any alternatives to dimethicone that would be good?

If cream product was made with SA being used as an exfoliant in the OTC range. Wouldn’t you want to do an assay just to make sure your proposed amount in the final product? No acne or blemish claims being made…

you want to be careful of the pH especially if it is for a biological female. (HaHa) :hushed:
Stuff like massage oil you really don’t want on female parts. You really shouldn’t have glycerin on female parts because it can cause yeast infections.

I really didn’t know you still had birthdays… You are timeless!!!!

thank you!
Does anybody know of any Sunflower Oil vendors that do not get their product from the Ukraine or Russia? -
thanks! I will give them a try!!!
-
Thank you!
I am in contact with the effort here in Los Angeles, CA. They just had a cargo plane leave yesterday with a shipper that normally goes to the Ukraine.I would hope labeling would not be the main concern but I still want some type of integrity with products during these stressful times. I asking companies to make generic donations that may not be not associated with major brands.

My only problem with Jedwards is they ship from MA.

@Pattsi
Thank you very much for this information… Yes this was one of those concerns expressed by a demographic group that I questioned. The book sound good to read thank you for the knowledge. -
@Perry
HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa!
I have been reading about hair loss in the diabetic community and it is normally associated with hair loss on the body (legs) and with men. Again this what I have found not stating there aren’t other sources…thanks!!!
-
For the record… funny people…I am talking about hair loss on the head not body hair. Most people shave that..
@Pattsi — you are really cute with that one.
I hope you know I mean using the shampoo on a head as a deliver system to bring back nutrients (etc) to the hair and scalp. This is some what the inference I got from the person that made the statement. Mine you the brand product doesn’t make these claims… To me it is a bit of false advertisement knowing people with diabetes if they are not learned about the subject they purchase something they don’t need.
@Pharma…. What is pad?
Thanks everybody

Thank you gentleman…
this is the finished goods SDS of a shampoo and in section 3 it is listed as this? Would this be specialty items or priority items?Another question… is there a major difference between a bulk SDS or a finished good SDS? Wouldn’t they be the same? I understand the difference in finished goods COAs but does this apply to finished goods SDS?
-
Another question with SDS…
SDS for a product may include chemicals in the 3 - Compositional statement. What chemicals would normally appear there on a finished goods SDS? Prop 65 RMs? -
@CedarS
thanks! i just wanted to know what was in common use in these situations or should it be customized. -
Thank you everybody thus far…
I am still confused at to how am I suppose to report this….
So do get hplc statements from my suppliers (essential oils/fragrances) proving that items listed are below <100 ppm if they appear?Is this a simple form stating this? Has anybody done this yet?

A seriously good idea…. my DIY person is stuck on pink salt as being the magical cure….

From last time I checked (many moons ago), CBD/Hemp is not being classified as an active. FDA has been very fuzzy on its treatment of CBD except when it comes to label claims.I have noticed over the past several years since the boom of CBD started to happen that brands will claim “CBD” and they are using hemp oil. The price is always very “cheap” in comparison to a product using extracted/purified CBD with real claims. If you go to Amazon and see the ridiculous claims of 10K CBD at $30…this doesn’t make sense. they won’t be able to provide a HLPC report to prove the potency. You will see Hemp oil and coconut oil being the main factors.
This is product has to come from the hemp plant and not the marijuana plant. The THC count must be lower than 0.03(?) to be acceptable. We are talking about the USA. I am not sure about Canada.

“Cannabis sativa (Hemp) Seed Oil”
Not a so much a scam depending on the point of view….Some folks will use hemp oil and call it CBD knowing most people (including chemists) may not know the difference between the two materials. If you are really using CBD it should state the mg’s on label otherwise there is a super strong chance it is hemp oil they are claiming..

I think you need to have a brief class in regulatory….

No.. I wouldn’t have written here if it was that easy. Salt only has 30-35% solubility in water. I was testing a DIY project that was given to me to see if it could be reproduced the way they did it with the same results. Thank you for the in put.

Yes, Himalayan salt. I am trying to work with a DIY process that was given to me to see if it works or not. I am noticing the process really can’t be done the way it was given to me.
