    Or you could just bottle the seawater :-) Have had similar experience myself as a youngster regarding better skin (less acne) after beach holidays. I know that they use ‘warm salt water pools for the treatment of Psoriasis , I have helped to maintain these pools. We used simply salt (though the minerals such as listed above were also present in the Bulk Salt).

    Ive made nano particles in the lab on a 2L scale. There is a slight ‘high frequency sound’ , and I can still hear ;-) . On the larger scale you would use similar equipment (that doesn’t ) produce too much sound, and similar scale to the lab. You achieve this by recirculating the fluid through the ultrasound device and back into the batch vessel. minimizing the size of the ultrasound device is a good thing (allows for scalability, doesn’t require sound proofing, limits the forces produced) .

    Hello,

    I am a student at the university of 44. Love life science , I have a R&D background in pharmaceuticals, and more recently medical devices for corrective and aesthetics purposes
    I am taking Perrys classes to gain more knowledge around formulation of cosmetics. I am a chemical engineer by background, married with children. I don’t have much free time but I am Interested in knocking up some “garage cosmetics” for fun. I am simply curious to learn something new, always curious.
