    Oh, ok, thanks for the info! I didnt know that! Can you recommend any other preservative that is good for clear gel? Other than Methylisothiazolinone and Methylchloroisothiazolinone.

    Yes i am using fragrance, i solubilize it with polysorbate 20. I am thinking of increasing the solubilizer?

    Really? i was wondering if my sequence would play a role. I put my PVP & PQ11 after neutralization. I notice my other blends if i dont neutralize it first it will produce some white lumps. I am suppose to put it before or after?

    To replace Teriethanoalmine? Yes i am trying it now. But due to cost, we prefer to stick to NaOH unless we have no other choice. :(

    PEHG using at 0.6% and 0.8%, did challenge test it passed for both. Check again on the micro test there was no count. :(

    I am using Cabopol 940, using Sodium hydroxide (NaOH). Because client want to eliminate Triethanolamine.

    We are eliminating those preservative now. Our client do not want any paraben or DMDMH in the ingredient.. that is why i am having a hard time.

    I am using GL 47 S. I did ask my supplier if there was a different grade but he only supply this GL 47S.  :-O

    However my hair gel still watery. Maybe i will try to lower the dosage. Thanks again!

    Hi everyone, I was also looking for a EDTA alternative and found all the information here. I tried using the Dissolvin GL into my Hair Gel but it is all watery. I am using cabomer to do my hair gel. Should i in cooperate this Dissolvin with something else or with a solublizer?
