We have used Allied Analytical for stability testing in the past and they were great.

What if we started with a sanitizer rinse which contains Per-acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Would this work? (understanding we would need to go back and resanitize after cleaning)

In a larger kettle?

Formula is ~24% water, ~26% Glycerin, ~30% Propanediol and ~6% Sodium Sterate. Does this help?

I think Zinc needs to be above 7.

Did this in a lab a long time ago. We made a thick gel with gums and then pumped in the propellant (butane/propane). Then when it applies to the skin the propellant evaporates to create the crackling in the product.

Thank you all for the thoughtful feedback - I appreciate it. It was interesting I ran the simulator on a product and it guessed 8 but we had sent it out and got a 15. I’m assuming boosters, thickness, other raws also affect the product’s rating.

Wow!! Thank you so much for sharing!

You need to emulsify it into the product and add an oil/butter or ester to temper the foaming while processing to hold the methylperfluoroisobutyl ether in it until it gets into the finished good. This should help with the foaming on skin after application. What clays are you using? Does this product have the “vinegar-like” smell from them or have you been able to mask it?

The pH of the product is around 9.50.

I believe the bottles might be HDPE but they are very flimsy and have a repeatable soft spot on all bottles in the same spot in all mold #’s.

Yes the bottle is partially collapsing as you describe. The product is a soap with natural fragrance in one variant and essential oils in the other. Both are collapsing but the one with essential oils is collapsing more. The soap is not surfactant based but soap based.
