Hello. I am a mostly self-taught cosmetic formulator. I have been formulating my own skincare products for over a decade. I make anhydrous AND emulsified products. I’m recent years I have been focusing on anti-aging ingredients and actives.
I have taken many highschool, and later, college based Science courses, such as: several Biology, Basic Physics, Human development, several Chemistry Physiology, and Microbiology …and each with its own weekly four hour lab.
I have been lucky enough to find some brilliant minds in a few Facebook groups, … Many whom are well known here. I have listened to, researched and learned so much from these professional formulators and Chemists. I do not rely on blogs or unsubstantiated articles. I read Scientific journals and articles that appear unbiased.
I do not focus on the naturally compliant market. I have no problem with synthetics but do try to avoid controversial ingredients.
I do not sell currently because I want to have all of my products, branding, and marketing setup beforehand.
I am happy to be included in this Forum. I hope I can contribute something to this wonderful group of respectable minds.
