Can you lmk how it works out for you using that preservation system? Im really wanting to make up and package some masks but of course want to be sure they are very well preserved.

I also only have disodium EDTA right now which is a chelating agent would that be good for the serum?

Ok i only have emulsifying wax nf, stearic acid and cetyl alcohol right now im waiting on my btms 50 and the NF has Polysorbate 60, cetearyl alcohol, peg-150, and steareth-20 in it according to the INCI. What about Mango Butter and i only have veg glycerin right now also have a order im placing but waiting to add a few more to save on my shipping

So i have ran into a preserving issue with making clay masks with kaolin, indian healing, Moroccan, and french green as well as black charcoal. Anyone have any suggestions on a good preservative for these for a good shelf life?

Ok so technically i could add a 1% premade HA TO ANY OF my already completed cream formulations and it would still hydrate in it? Or am i reading into this wrong

Idk about most diy formulaters but I dont think theh have homogenizees sitting around would this apply to any mixing method? Such as a stick blender

Got it! I will cover with plasric wrap to hold the moisture in.. Thanks again im gonna try it today.

@ngarayeva001 the silk smells peptides smell bad or just in the conditioner? Im thinking of the powder and conditioner would be the fist place i would look to put them but not if they stink.

Thank you so even though my emulsion will not be a watery liquid and will be a thicker consistency the HA Will still hydrate it?
