Thank you Matt. You’re correct that this is a super glue. It’s more flexible than most super glues, which allows it to function better on human skin. It flexes with the skin and slowly wears away instead of peeling up at the edges.

You seem quite informed. Is this a project you’d have interest in taking on?

I’m not a chemist but I sure enjoy this learning process!

    Hi Perry,

Thanks for putting thought into this. I learned about this cool site from Mary Swaab of Color Lab Cosmetics. She speaks very highly of you!

I currently have the substance in for component analysis to determine exact ingredients with concentrations of each of these. I should have those results in about 2 weeks. Initial indications are that it includes: cyanoacrylate, acrylic acid, toluene and a soy extract. I’m awaiting the specifics.

I’m hoping to find someone who can use the forthcoming analysis to work up a reproducable formula.

    I appreciate your time!

    Matt,

I’m on the hunt for someone informed in this space. Are you open to briefly connecting? If not, maybe referring me to a person or company who might lead me the right direction?

    Thank you,

    Greg
