Also the Centrimonim chloride is also an emulsifier so would I need to add a different emulsifier? Should I add less behentrimonium methosulfate than Centrimonim?

Understandably the botanicals will be washed off but .01 % is not much.  What about 1%. Do you still think that is a bit much?
