I am a Boston, MA, USA-based, former software exec (https://www.linkedin.com/in/lhood/) who started studying cosmetic formulation via the Institute of Personal Care Science (IPCS) in late 2022 and fell madly, passionately in love. I have since built a lab in my basement and continue to fill my house with formulation samples galore.
I have been focusing on hair products but am slowly moving into body products (and potentially face) as well. I am also starting a course on basic chemistry to further my understanding of the concepts.
Chemists’ Corner has been an invaluable resource in my ongoing education. I very much appreciate you, Perry, and the numerous professionals who take the time to provide answers, information, feedback, and expertise!
