Does the sytem need to be clear? At what level do you need to add the silicone?

A version that I worked on was the following:
Finsolv TN G - 10%
OMC - 7.5%
Octyl Salicylate - 4.0%
Isododecane - 73.5%
Isohexadecane - 5%
Fragrance - QSThis had a really nice feel and was stable.

Innospec offers some great sulfate free blends that are readily thickened with salt.

If you want to add a large amount of oils to a surfactant product, try the Iselux SLC. It is a structured surfactant.

Alzo carries it. Dermol 88

I would also recommend a small stability oven to do elevated temperature stability. You could use a regular fridge with a freezer to do Freeze/Thaw stability to save $.

Thank you for all of your input. After Perry’s response on thickeners, I began to think of alternatives that I had seen to increase viscosity and stabilize as well.
I tried another batch yesterday where I added Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate to stabilize the emulsion.
Overnight at 45C, it has stayed together.
I will scale up and do full stability. I do appreciate everyone’s different aspects. -
If you want to keep a cold process, you can try a Quickpearl II from lubrizol or Euperlans from BASF. The EGDS is already melted in I believe SLES and betaine which is already in your formula. This will save with time during batching.
Salt would be your cheapest thickener. I agree with using Carbopol Aqua SF. I would suggest using SF-2. It is made for lower pH systems and will enhance the pearl. -
Do you need it to stay clear? How about transparent?

Try the Iselux SLC surfactant blend from Innospec if you are looking to incorporate natural oils, butters, silicones or petrolatum. It is a good fit for a moisturizing body wash or facial wash.
