Tri-K Industries have a large range of hydrolised proteins for hair care. In NZ the supplier for them is Ingredients Plus and pricing is similar to the others stated above.

It’s very hard, we are the scientists….the gatekeepers.
But there is so much pressure from marketing to compete with untruthful other brands. It’s a constant battle to tone down the claims people want to make on products.
I like @Susan25 ‘s idea. If your company can really make a commitment to only labelling correctly and truthfully 100% then state that in BOLD! That is a good point of difference.I feel like the voice of scientists is more and more undermined by know-it-alls and people who think they know better. Ignoring the research and data.
Scientists are often people who just get on with things, tinker away in their fields and don’t make as much noise as those know-it-alls.Let’s all join the March for Science happening on April, 22, 2017 happening all over the US and satellite marches around the world.

Thanks Bobzchemist, sounds good to me. I was looking at maybe a spear tip but worried as it is glass that it will get damaged.
I’m unfamiliar with that brand Daigger in our part of the world. Is it a reliable brand?
Looking at the website they have cheaper prices than other brands I know. -
Hi Perry and fellow cosmetic chemists!
I work for a small manufacturer in New Zealand and I have experience in skin care, hair care, body care products. I’ve got a Master of Science (Chemistry) degree and I’ve worked in various industries as a Development Chemist. Been a Cosmetic Formulation Chemist for a couple of years now.
I’ve been learning and getting tips from this forum. I’m the sole chemist so it’s nice to get ideas from people on this forum like a sounding board and I look forward to contributing myself.
Thanks Perry!
