I figured out the problem! I was using Petrolatum from Making Cosmetics, (http://www.makingcosmetics.com/Petroleum-Jelly-Petrolatum_p_104.html)

It is a completely different texture/consistency than petrolatum on https://www.spectrumchemical.com/OA_HTML/chemical-products_Petrolatum-White-USP_PE125.jsp?minisite=10020&respid=22372&phrase=petrolatum

The one from making cosmetics had a coconut oil texture, where as the spectrum had the typical vaseline texture.Thank you guys for the help.

That’s probably the best bet. Any suggestions on the percentages to use?
