    Question regarding water-based clay pomade.

After adding fragrance and preservative and the final mix is done, I pour into 4 oz glass containers.

    1.)  Do I leave them un-capped over-night?
2.) Should I cover them with cheesecloth to avoid getting a firm dehydrated top layer?
3.) When is the best time to cap product?

If you are filling above 45C, best to leave uncapped until they set or at least until below T < 40C. Otherwise, condensation may occur inside and one mold spore is needed to grow into a colony on the surface of your product.
