Haven’t you noticed, the two LOI are identical ;) ?
Maybe to help with lather or it comes from a pre-mix?
If you switch out talc with zeolith, cellulose with cellulase, and maltodextrin with amylase, then you could use it also for washing your clothes too :D .

    Hi,
I think it’s just going to add slip into that formula once applied to the skin with water.

Hi, but there is Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate, isn’t it slippery when wet?

Hey, sorry, I did not work with this material yet. It probably is, the XG should maybe only enhance it? Just my guess :)

The Xanthan Gum and Cellulose are in there to give it a bit of body/thickening when reconstituted in water so it is not water-thin when applied to your face.  It may also give some body to the foam.

Thank you Mark, cellulose, do you think it might be HEC?

No, I think it is just Cellulose … perhaps to serve as a mild abrasive
