I am looking for an Ultrez 30 replacement.  It is a hydroalcoholic gel that contains lidocaine HCL so it needs to be tolerant to salt.  Unfortunately, Lubrizol is completely out of stock of U30 right now. Does anyone know of an alternate supplier that may have a knock off?  Ideally it would have carbomer as the INCI name.

Why don’t you try Siligel or Seppimax zen which is the same as the carbomer but preneutralised!

You may also want to explore Acrylates / C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, which is available from a number of sources under many different names. It has good electrolyte tolerance and can thicken up to 65% alcohol at least. It’s also generally cheaper than Polyacrylate crosspolymer-6 (Sepimax Zen).

Yes that’s Seppimax Zen or EMT-10. If you want to go natural & get the same effect then use siligel or Lecigel

I have tried the Acrylates / C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer.  It works well and we have a large amount in stock here but I was hoping to use something with Carbomer as the INCI, but if worse comes to worse I will stick with the acrylates.  I did come across a lot of carbomer variations from 3V, so hoping maybe one of those will work out.
