    Dear all,
I develop a transparent shower gel enriched with olive oil
the perfume that I use is immiscible in water
that’s why I use in my formula the peg-160 sorbitan triisostearate and the peg-40 htydrogenated castor oil to dissolve the perfume and the oil at the same time
at laboratory scale the product is transparent but in production the product is cloudy
I wonder how I can correct the transparency of this product
    best regards

    Hi,
how much of the olive oil are you using?
Do you realize there is NO benefit other than claims? And it can destabilize your product or mess with the effectiveness?

Use the olive oil in 0.01% just so you can claim it’s there and solubilize the fragrance in the superfatting agent. This won’t affect the stability, nor performance. It will only help it.

If you could also post full formula, that would help.

take a sample from production prior to addition of oil/surfactant blend and add latter in the lab to see if levels are correct:you can adjust for production batches.if necessary.
