  • Testing stability of Zinc Oxide formulations

    Hi everyone,
I am formulating an inorganic sunscreen using a predispersed zinc oxide . I have it at 25% active zinc oxide in the final formula.
My question is how would you stability test such product? In incubator it will separate any ways as at high temperatures zinc will settle.
Would centrifuge & freeze/thaw be enough?
I have witnessed this myself in a similar formula where it separates in incubator however, the product is perfectly fine on shelf for 3 years (Real time stability)
Any help would be greatly appreciated
